A visit to the Kapula Gallery

A visit to the Kapula Gallery

I had a great day out at the Kapula Gallery last week!

The Gallery is in a large warehouse just down the road from the Kapula Candle & Ceramics Factory in Bredasdorp, South Africa.  As you walk in, you are greeted with a RIOT of color!  The place is full of beautiful handmade and hand painted candles and ceramics, all creatively displayed by design collections.

Mixed in are some other carefully selected  ‘Made in Africa’  items such as greeting cards, clocks,  candle holders, jewelry, etc. etc.  all making it a unique – and very fun – shopping experience.  There are loads of great gifting ideas, or terrific treats for yourself.  And if you are lucky, you might also find some wonderful ‘seconds’ on the sale table – real bargains!

So….. if/when you plan your visit to the Cape, don’t forget to add a stop in Bredasdorp to the itinerary. An easy 2.5 hour drive from Cape Town through the wonderful scenery of the Overburg.  Drop me a mail and I’lI send the directions and tell our friends at Kapula you are on your way!
